Who We Fund
The Byron PTO accepts funding requests throughout the school year. We support:
Activities involving Byron Public Schools children.
Activities or programs that have an educational or community benefit.
Supplies or activities that support the Byron Public School district.
Byron Public Schools administrators, teachers, and staff may submit funding requests via the online submission form below. Submitted funding requests are reviewed at our monthly PTO meetings.
What We Fund
The Byron PTO has recently funded:
Primary school nutrition curriculum
Kindergarten cooking
I Love to Read Month
Field trip transportation (MN Zoo, Quarry Hill, Plays, Senior Class Trip, etc.)
Intermediate school Pride Tiles
Books and furniture for middle school library
Physical Education curriculum for high school students
Middle school outdoor sports equipment
Special school supplies that enhance learning experiences
REQUIREMENTS
DEADLINE: Funding requests MUST be submitted by the last day of the month in order to be reviewed at the next scheduled PTO meeting. For example, if your request is submitted by October 31, it will be reviewed at the November PTO meeting
PRINCIPAL APPROVAL: All funding requests must be reviewed and approved by the principal of the requestor. Exceptions will be at the discretion of the executive board and may be reviewed and voted upon outside of regular meetings.
ATTENDANCE: Those requesting funds from Byron PTO must have an applicant or delegate in attendance at the PTO meeting to represent their request.
